Revolabs Delivers Clear, Natural Audio and Videoconferencing for Higher Education at LTSMG Conference 2017
The Revolabs Executive Elite Wireless Microphone System and Yamaha CS-700, YVC-300, and YVC-1000MS Will Be on Display
(October 31, 2017)
SUDBURY, Mass. â?? Oct. 31, 2017 â?? Revolabs®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Yamaha Corporation and part of the Yamaha UC department, today announced that it will exhibit its portfolio of audio solutions for higher education at the Learning and Teaching Spaces Managers Group (LTSMG) Conference 2017 at the University of Hertfordshire in Hatfield, England, Nov. 15-17. Higher-education AV, media, and IT managers will experience the Revolabs Executive Eliteâ?˘ wireless microphone system along with Yamaha's new CS-700 Video Sound Collaboration System, YVC-300 USB and Bluetooth® conference phone, and the new Skype-for-Business-certified YVC-1000MS unified communications USB speakerphone.
"The expectations for audio are changing in the classroom, with more students, staff, and IT demanding superior classroom intelligibility, ease of use, and management," said Philip Stanley, regional sales manager Northern Europe at Revolabs. "At this year's LTSMG conference, Revolabs will highlight the range of AV solutions that meet these needs and reinforce any educational organization's commitment to teaching and learning excellence."
At the show, Revolabs will demonstrate the Executive Eliteâ?˘ 2-Channel wireless microphone system. Ideal for auditoriums and lecture halls, the wireless rackmount microphone is a cost-effective solution that can also be part of lecture capture, providing natural, intelligible sound of a speaker's voice in remote learning applications. The Executive Elite 2-Channel features superior functionality for the price point, including simple connectivity, remote monitoring and diagnostics, and straightforward network management alongside other network devices.
Also on display will be the new Yamaha CS-700 Video Sound Collaboration System, an all-in-one wall-mounted video soundbar solution designed to simplify installation and deployment and ensure the highest-quality audio and video in huddle and small meeting spaces. Through a single USB cable, it is ready to connect to an organization's chosen UC platform, such as Skype for Business, Cisco® Spark, GoToConference, Google Chrome devices for meetings, Vidyo®, WebEx®, Zoom®, BlueJeans®, and many others. This plug-and-play approach allows users to get meetings started quickly without wrestling with disparate video, audio, and collaboration components in the room, thus eliminating complex steps from the process that can waste valuable meeting time or require the assistance of on-call IT staff. By removing all the communications equipment from the table, valuable and scarce space is reserved for meeting collaboration. In addition, the CS-700's integrated network management system allows IT staff to remotely manage each unit from one location, increasing service response and efficiency.
Revolabs will also display the Yamaha YVC-1000MS USB speakerphone, the first UC solution certified for Skype for Business available from Revolabs and engineered with Yamaha's renowned audio technology to enhance the user experience. It provides a scalable and flexible product that's designed to support the audio requirements of large meeting rooms, rooms with special table configurations, and remote education classes or seminars within the Skype for Business application. The intuitive design provides fast, simple connection to a PC via USB and/or smartphones with Bluetooth. Featuring Yamaha's adaptive echo cancellation and other unique sound processing technologies, the system facilitates stress-free conversation.
In addition, attendees will see the YVC-300 USB and Bluetooth conference phone from Yamaha. Designed for groups of four to six people and with portability in mind, the YVC-300 is a perfect choice for organizations that want to offer high-quality group communication without the cost of dedicated equipment for every conference room or open collaboration space. Users can simply borrow a device from an available supply, connect it to their PC-based audio, video, and web conferencing client via USB connection, and return it at the end of the class. Bluetooth-enabled, it also turns smartphones and tablets into conference phones by acting as the microphone and speaker.
