Yamaha Completes Its Neo Line of Instruments With the YBH-831S Neo Baritone Horn(January 09, 2014)
Anaheim, CA (PRWEB) January 09, 2014
Yamaha today introduced the YBH-831S Neo Baritone Horn at the 2014 NAMM Show.
Yamaha worked with renowned British brass band soloist Katrina Marzella to create the new design. In addition to achieving richer tonal character with more dynamic range, the YBH-831S also provides optimal comfort and playing ergonomics. The new model, the first custom level.
Yamaha baritone horn with a 4-valve compensating system, fills the needs of the highest-level players and excels in both solo and ensemble performance settings.
The YBH-831S represents the final addition to the Neo line of low brass instruments, a full range of horns intended to be used together to create a balanced tonal quality from cornet to tuba. With each model standing firmly on its own as a solo instrument, characterized by beautiful tonal character and rich overtones, Yamahas Neo brass instruments excel at executing soaring melodies and precise field band pieces.
The new Neo baritone puts the finishing touch on the development of the new Neo line of brass band instruments, said Jonathan Goldman, product manager, Wind Instruments, Yamaha Corporation of America. The 4-valve compensating system, re-designed leadpipe and new body taper of the YBH-831S give it an amazing rich and full tone that soars over the band during solo performances while it maintains the integrity and balance required during section playing.
